The Cinderella Story Foundation is an initiative of Heavenly Haven Retreat, developed as a structured youth empowerment and mentorship programme aimed at restoring dignity, confidence, and hope in young women within our communities.

The Cinderella Story Foundation has transitioned from supporting multiple learners across schools to a focused model centred on one exceptional Grade 12 learner per year.
This intentional shift allows for a deeper, more meaningful mentorship journey that supports the learner academically, emotionally, and personally throughout their matric year.
The programme is built on the principle of: One learner. One journey. One lasting impact.
MENTORSHIP STRUCTURE:
The Foundation provides a holistic mentorship experience that includes:

- A dignified Cinderella-style matric celebration experience

CINDERELLA AMBASSADOR APPOINTMENT (2026)
The Foundation is honoured to officially announce the appointment of the:
Cinderella Ambassador 2026: Charlene Elliott
Charlene Elliott will serve in this role for a three-year term, representing the Cinderella Story Foundation across schools, community platforms, and public engagements.
Her role includes:
- Representing the values of leadership, dignity, and purpose
- Supporting youth empowerment initiatives
- Acting as a role model for young women within the programme
- Assisting in promoting the Foundation’s vision across platforms

Anita Senekal – Cinderella Story Foundation Mentor
Anita Senekal is a highly accomplished media personality, pageant coach, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with extensive experience in radio, television, modelling, and business development.
She has been instrumental in mentoring and guiding young women in personal development and pageantry, and has led several philanthropic initiatives including:
- Feed a Child Project
- Book of Life
- Blanket Drives & Teddy Bear of Hope
Within the Cinderella Story Foundation, Anita Senekal serves as a Mentor supporting the Ambassador and contributing to the leadership, growth, and personal development journey of the programme.

The selected learner’s school will receive an exclusive invitation for Grade 12 learners studying Mathematics and Physical Sciences to attend an: Aviation Career Exposure Day at AFB Langebaanweg
